  • Inspired by rings worn by the Ottoman Sultans. In line with Ottoman taste, jewelry had to be ornate and extremely colorful. Jewelers used a variety of metals like gold and silver and stones like turquoise in order to fashion a piece of jewelry. Many popular jewelry motifs originated in the Ancient World.
